The Gulf Coast Economics Association is a group of university and community college professors who have come together to provide a forum for those who are interested in the teaching of economics undergraduate courses. As of now our sole educational outreach program is a national economics teaching conference which will be hosted in different cities across the United States. The first two years of the conference were hosted in Houston, Texas. In the third year we moved the conference on the road to Austin, Texas and this year it will be hosted in beautiful San Antonio, Texas.
